1. According to the provisions of Article 7.8: Expedited Shipment of the Trade Facilitation Agreement (TFA) of the World Trade Organization (WTO), the existing laws of the respective countries for goods imported by air from member countries. It is stated that if the orders are in accordance with the instructions, they will be allowed to clear and withdraw quickly.
2. As the implementation of the article by the Customs Department, regarding Express Consignment (goods that need to be sent and taken out quickly) in order to quickly handle the necessary customs procedures before and during the arrival of the Express Consignment, with the Office Instruction No. (15/2000) and The de-minimis value threshold that can be exempted from customs duties on goods imported by air is the exemption of the total value of each import up to USD 50 through the Ministry of Planning and Finance’s Notification No. (33/2017).
3. In addition, the Ministry of Economy and Commerce According to the Department of Commerce’s Bulletin No. (5/2013), sample materials and advertising materials imported from abroad with a value of less than US$500 will be allowed to be taken out without the need for a license/permit certification. According to the opinions of various member departments under the risk management task force, a list of items that need approval from these departments was sent to ensure that the products can be quickly cleared upon arrival.
4. Therefore, if the items listed in the attached table are imported, we would like to inform you that by obtaining the approvals of the relevant departments in advance, we will be able to support the smooth operation of the activities.
